CHLA Trauma App
The CHLA Trauma App (CHLATA) will provide parents with a reliable source of information on a wide range of topics regarding their children’s health and help determine whether a trip to the doctor is advisable after particular injuries.
CHLATA will be accessible both as an app and a website. The main function of the app and website is to provide easy access to a wealth of information. Information ranges from how to securely install a child car seat, to how to treat various injuries. The app and website also has a symptom quiz that asks questions about a non urgent injury a child had and determines whether or not to take the child to the hospital. The content on the service will be maintained via an administration area accessible via a web browser that allows creating, editing and deleting content from the knowledge base or symptom quiz. Making the content accessible, presentable and easy to modify is the primary objective of this project.
The apps will be available on iOS and Android. The content will also be available on a website via a normal desktop web browser. The content on both the apps and the website are managed from the same place and are always up to date.
