Write-On Stylus
Many children have trouble holding a writing utensil which affects their ability to form letters correctly. This deficit in tern effects their ability to write as they progress in school and may never be corrected. The Write-On Stylus was developed to help children master this very important skill. The Write-On Stylus Application will provide an immersive and fun experience while helping the user correct their writing finger positioning. This application is to be used in conjunction with the Write-On Stylus. The pen will connect to tablets using Bluetooth. The data provided by the pen will let the application know when to give users feedback on the correct way to hold the stylus. The primary goal of this application is to help the user correct their finger positioning without realizing it. Exercises will be masked as games. The games will increase in difficulty as the user improves. The application will be available in the app store for use with the iPad. The application will be running on top of iOS.
The purpose of this project is to develop an educational and engaging Android/iOS application to be used in conjunction with the Write-On Stylus.
