Campus Navigation Using Augmented Reality
Campus Navigation Using Augmented Reality
(EagleNav)
EagleNav is an augmented reality navigation platform for Android and iOS that uses custom high-precision mapping of the Cal State LA campus. The app is designed to support students with disabilities by offering accessible, independence-focused navigation tools—including AR arrows, voice-guided directions, LiDAR-enhanced obstacle awareness, and seamless integration with campus events and building data. EagleNav aims to remove navigation barriers and create a more inclusive campus experience for all students.
