EcoCAR2 Center Stack System

The EcoCAR2 Center Stack System (ECSS) uses a touch screen as a hybrid car replacement for the so-called center stack controls—the controls available to perform functions like changing the station on the radio or modifying the air conditioning setting. ECSS includes all of the functions of the standard center stack as well as new functions to display live diagnostic data signals. The environment which the software operates on is QNX CAR 2 platform. ECSS runs on the Freescale i.MX 6 Sabre ARD board. It was developed using the QNX development tools, the QNX Momentics IDE, Google Chrome (Chromium) Developer tools, Ripple, Microsoft Expression, Aptana Studio 3, and Notepad++. ECSS is written in HTML5/CSS/JQuery/Javscript using the QNX HTML5 development framework.
