The Surface Missile Engineering Production System (SMEPS) is designed to allow access to standard missile maintenance history and assign maintenance procedures that require implementation. The goal of this project is to design a web application that will allow mechanics, government officials, domestic and foreign contractors to access the required data in an efficient and timely manner. The current desktop application is only available to local missile production sites, by creating it web based application it will be accessible to a wider range of production shops and make operations more centralized and efficient. The web based application will be modeled and hopefully improved upon the current desktop version.
