Customer Portal System - QTC
QTC has a significant burden of supporting nearly 25+ websites for clients, each with unique business requirements for submitting referrals and the unique data they request to send. Likewise, as new clients are added, a custom interface must be created to engage the client. Instead of creating a unique interface, a reusable interface is required to bring data into a single flow to be processed by anyone from operations using a queue concept prevalent in Pega Systems.
QTC currently gets requests via email, text files, XML files, web services, or entered data directly into a user interface. These referrals all need to flow into a single work area for anyone to process. These interfaces also must be able to be modified quickly so new fields can be added and absorbed into the system.
The gateways defined below will be used to accept, import and store referral requests in SharePoint Client Portal. Referral files contain claimant & condition information structure in XML format. There are several distinct gateways to maximize the acceptance of referral information.
-
FTP XML Services – Clients can FTP files with referrals in XML format.
-
XML Web Services – Clients can communicate with web services to submit referral information via XML format.
-
Data Entry page – Clients can enter referrals manually in a dynamic SharePoint form.
